To support the HEDIS Effectiveness Data and Information Set project, the contract Medical Records Clerk will obtain, review, and manage medical records while working remotely under the supervision of the HEDIS Coordinator. Key responsibilities Obtain and distribute medical record data for scanning, ensuring proper labeling and filing Utilize software applications to enter data and manage medical records in accordance with HEDIS guidelines Collaborate with the HEDIS Coordinator and Quality Improvement Specialists to address issues and discuss HEDIS efforts Required qualifications High School Diploma or GED; Medical Assistant certification preferred 7+ years of relevant experience in medical records or administrative support Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Lotus Notes Experience with data entry and typing Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful
